No, it’s not. Nobody is forcing anyone. Latinoamerica is adding inclusive language in spanish and portuguese. There’s a world outside of USA doing this, and inside of USA latines/latinxs use it as well. It’s not disrespectful. It’s 2019 can we all agree to stop bringing up this shit.
It’s the current year everyone!! But no, Latinx is not valid and it never will be, only idiots will ever use the term. It was literally denied and denounced by the spanish authority on language, mkay? Not to mention Latin is already the gender free term, you don’t go to a Spanix, or italiano restaurant. And further the letter “x” does not effectively exist in Latin based languages, your attempt at a defense proves your ignorance of romance languages.
